Nigeria announces import and export data of the third quarter, the first in export is to India, the first in import is from China.

According to the Nigeria State Statistics Bureau, first estimated, the total volume of import-export volume of Nigeria in 3rd quarter is 5922 billion-naira, 23.9% year-on-year growth, 3.9% comparative growth on moving base. The export volume is 3573.3 billion-naira, 53.9% year-on-year growth and 15.2% comparative growth on moving base; the import volume is 2348.7 billion-naira, 4.5% year-on-year decrease, 9.5% comparative decrease on moving base; trade surplus is 1224.6 billion-naira, 1000.4% year-on-year growth, 141.8% comparative growth on moving base.

The top three products of export are energy and mineral products 3475 billion-naira, 97.2% of the volume, tobacco and alcohol products 25.8 billion-naira, 0.7% of the volume, vegetable products 16.3 billion-naira, 0.5% of the volume.

The top three products of import are energy and mineral products 617.1 billion-naira, 26.3% of the volume, domestic appliance 492.2 billion-naira, 21.0% of the volume, chemical products 240.5 billion-naira, 10.2% of the volume.

The top five countries exported to are India 623.2 billion-naira, 17.4% of the volume, USA 497.5 billion-naira, 13.9% of the volume, Spain 355.9 billion-naira, 10% of the volume, the Netherlands 242.8 billion-naira, 6.8% of the volume, France 225.7 billion-naira, 6.3% of the volume.

The top five countries imported from are China 522.8 billion-naira, 22.3% of the volume, Belgium 306.2 billion-naira, 13% of the volume, USA 187.4 billion-naira, 8% of the volume, the Netherlands 179.4 billion-naira, 7.6% of the volume, India 119.3 billion-naira, 5.1% of the volume.

According to trade share, Nigeria has concluded that the top five business partners are India, America, Spain, the Netherlands and France.
